Ice is about the most central of the scene locations. It's a large pub with several different sections, including one with armchairs, and a dancefloor. There's a wider selection of beers than in most of the other bars, and all sorts of manic promotions during the week. Well, anyway, all those things were true when the place was still called Jaceys, but I ain't been there recently.

Now I hear that the above is even more out of date than I realised, and no-one bothered to tell me. Ice ain't even gay, any more!
