Like @D2, Central is a bar that's been here for a while and recently changed its name. This place in Huntingdon Street was called Gatsbys until relatively recently, but apart from the name, little else has changed. There is now a large pool table, but all the original fittings are still in place. There are two bars: one playing loud dancy music with a dark dancefloor, one playing very cheesier tracks. The cheesy side is complete with a very kitschy d‚cor -- cobra lamps! -- and the other side is too dark to see. Here the crowd includes the older gent and a fair few transvestites. The atmosphere is very smokey indeed.
